LIC Springs is set to return to Vernon Boulevard for a fifth year this month.
The community block festival will take place on May 12 along the stretch of the boulevard between 50th and 46th Ave.
The free event will begin at midday and go through 5 p.m., and is chock-full of activities for all ages, including live music,
theater performances, and dance. The festival also features art and sculpture making, fitness classes, pop-up activities,
games, and outdoor dining.
The festival sees dozens of participating local businesses and organizations, and is organized by the Long Island City
