SpaceX’s Crew-2 started its journey to the International Space station this Friday.
The Crew-2 is conformed by the NASA astronauts Shane Kimbrough and Megan McArthur. They will be joined by Thomas Pesquet from French Space Agency, and Akihiko Hoshide from Japan. They will be on the mission for six months.
The Falcon 9 spaceship launched from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida at 5:49 A.M. This is the second mission with the Falcon 9 and astronauts.
Steve Jurczyk, NASA Administrator said, “I couldn’t be more proud of the Commercial Crew Program, and the SpaceX team, and the NASA team and what they’ve been able to do to enable reliable, safe, effective transportation to and from station”.
This is the first time that SpaceX reuses a rocket and capsule for a mission.

“The next time I read a blog, I hope that it doesn’t fail me just as much as this particular one. After all, Yes, it was my choice to read, nonetheless I actually thought you would have something interesting to talk about. All I hear is a bunch of whining about something you can fix if you were not too busy searching for attention.”
